When you’ve had a long, exhausting week, a great way to cap it off is with ice cream.
It’s Friday evening. I’m tired. The family went to Heritage tonight to celebrate a milestone. Our daughter had a major accomplishment.
Whatever your equivalent of Friday evening ice cream is after a full and fast and furious seven days, well, I hope it is yours this night. I’ll be back in a week, with a story or two to tell, artwork to share, and maybe a word of encouragement to offer.
May the Lord bless and keep you.
Book Notes
I am making my way through Ronald Reagan’s autobiography, An American Life.
I have continued to read Beth Allison Barr’s The Making of Biblical Womanhood: How the Subjugation of Women Became Gospel Truth, and this week I began Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy.
Sights and Sounds
I finished the Chernobyl mini-series and wrote briefly about it here. I watched Logan Lucky and posted my September tunes. Tonight, I’ll watch Nobody.
Last Words
On the blog: something I find not only wrong, but shameful. And, something I find funny.

Hit play on the tape with the appeal for social media followers, then: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. I’m not checking those accounts, but content does push there. If you use social media as your news feed, follow there. Share my stuff, if you like. Maybe those services are for you. They are not for me. I’ve been a happier and less anxious person since I quit checking social media.
